red states blue states - media FAIL

howeirdI;m sure they chose the colors because they look distinctive on a TV pundit's map, but the labels red and blue are WRONG.
The Reds have always been the commie pinko liberal hippies and the Republicans have always been lily white.
What the maps ought to show is the Democrats as the red states and the Republicans as the white states. Libertarians and independents, I suppose, could be represented by true blue.
