Third Time's Still Charming

Toy Story 3 mini-review. No spoilers. The animation keeps getting better. Good use of 3D. Clever way to add Barbie, and great character too. I did not like how sinister things turned, I think they went way over the top on that for a G-rated movie. There were some LOL moments, but not nearly enough considering the strength of the characters. IMHO not as well written as 1 or 2. The ending included a piece of magic which could have and should have been shown rather than being OMG-ed on us.

They used about 5 minutes of the credits to wrap up the movie, which gave them 15 minutes more which they could have used to give us bloopers, but they missed that opportunity.

Not worth full 3-D price, but definitely worth matinée.
