Not related (well, except that I am too lazy to get a flickr account and would not be able to your nekkid pics) but don't you do blu-ray testing at your $DAYJOB? We just bought a few on sale blu-rays and it seems the colors and contrast are way too high. We have tried Serenity and Toy Story 3, both of which look much better in the DVD version. (using PS3 as the blu-ray player)
I suppose I can compensate it by adjusting the TV, but I'm thinking that if this is a characteristic of Blu-ray, then we will just stay with DVD.,,
