Got to work a little early 'cause I was leaving a little early. Finally learned how to send programs to the set top boxes in the lab. Turns out the reason it didn't work the first time is the distributor box I was assigned was down. Got that rebooted and everything worked. So I was able to finish a project I started yesterday. Ended the day verifying one of those long-setup, short-test bugs.

I kept checking my email to see if there was a package for me, I was going to need more kitty litter, and the order I had in online was due today or tomorrow. No email by lunchtime, so I went to Petco and got one refill, and a case of canned food. Had lunch next door at 99 Chicken, a Korean place

localinactivist introduced me to a long time ago, which makes excellent chicken in all forms. I had the fried, which was great. Took half of it to go.

Home after work, the box with 4 litterbox refills was at my door, Fedex had delivered i directly instead of to the office. Fine with me. Stayed home long enough to change the litter, open the mail and then headed to CHM for a reception and talk.

seamoose was there, we chatted for most of the reception and sat together at the talk. It was two top guys from Dreamworks being interviewed by one of the CHM directors, who did a pretty good job. It was not as interesting as it could have been, there was minimal video about Dreamworks, and they ended with a clip from Puss N Boots which I had just seen Sunday. There were some interesting bits but I started to doze off a couple of times. Packed house, well stocked reception.

After the lecture I hit my old Safeway for some essentials - ice cream, apples, limes, bananas, ding dongs and devil's food donettes.
