Actually it works out akin to this: CBS - letterman show, ferguson show, replay of 11pm news, infomercial*; NBC - leno show, fallon show, last call with carson daly, infomercial*; ABC - no attention paid to its programming before 1am ^_^ 1am shows replay of 'live at 3'[pm]; then goes to all-night 'world news' which is kinda repetivitve, but has some in-depth story coverage - as well as some stories from London [& where I watched the Japanese quake coverage live last year]
* both infomercials start at around 2:30 am
Starting at 4-5am the networks begin showing their early shows. Hoping my chronic insomnia helps keep you informed ^_^
