point taken. i carry the power cord, adapter, and extender/splitter in my netbook carry case... the splitter helped a lot when on jury duty and everyone in the jury break room was online. i know a guy who carries around a whole power strip that makes him popular in airports. :-)

this toshiba seems interesting, and it may be time for me to move along from Asus: what are its dimensions (screen and actual machine)?
