When I was looking into, do I buy a Fire, a Nook Color or a free standing Android tablet? The Fire and the Color were both $199. I got my Acer for $300 and have the Nook and Kindle readers downloaded. Along with Aldiko, Adobe, Google Play, and several magazine readers. I still have the reader my pda uses to get downloaded, I have some nice books on the pda I want to move over.
Which Kindles are you getting rid of? I may want a B&W with extreme battery life.
The tablet is nice, but only good for 4-6 hours of steady use.
