Oh.

Yeah, made up name. She was named Suzi Pollock, then took her mom's maiden name for stage work, Suzi Goldman, decided to use her Hebrew first name and became Shoshana Goldman, Shortened it to Shana, and finally thought those surnames were too ethnic, so she dug into the deep past and found an Italian/Spanish ancestor Pezaro. Her brother and his wife also changed their names to Pezaro. Considering that Pollock was an insult handed to Jews from Poland, and Goldman is obviously Jewish, and antisemitism is still rife in the UK, not a bad move.
