There was more to both the Bonds thing and the Melky thing. Bonds never tested positive, was given a huge party for his final game, was fired rudely, and management was wrong to adopt their "guilty till proved innocent" attitude with him. He wouldn't accept their invitation even if they sent him one. Melky tested positive, and skulked out of the clubhouse without saying goodbye. He lost most of his friends on the team by doing that.
