As I reall, the app in question was bundled - with my Samsung Galaxy that broke - and transferred along with my other apps when I bought the LG. There were 2 non-Google GPS apps bundled with the either the Samsung or the LG or both. One was TeleNav GPS, which has since been replaced by Scout. The other is the one I was using that mysteriously disappeared. I'm pretty sure I was using it when I had the Samsung. And it isn't the common problem of apps falling off the screen but still available in the apps manager - the app is nowhere on my phone, like it deleted itself somehow.

Are apps bundled by the phone manufacturer, the carrier, or both? I notice there are Sprint apps bundled on my phone; I assume those were added by Sprint. So the app I'm talking about may have been bundled by Sprint, not LG or Samsung.
