I'm thinking of having the local power company inspect my home, because even after it has cooled off outside, it's still hot inside. That was fine during the winter, but not so fine with temps in the 90s. That may call for a major cashectomy because I think the gas oven has a pilot light which cannot be turned off and ought to be replaced, and maybe the fridge needs replacing too.
Your diabetes sounds like normal Type 2. I am extraordinarily insulin resistant. It's Catch 22, the more insulin I use, the fatter I get. The fatter I get, the more insulin resistant I become. When I exercise I can reduce the insulin, but it's hard to figure out how much.
