howeirdSomeone reminded me that Arris, the company I work for, which also bought the Motorola group which makes cable modems, will give me a major emnployee discount. So I called the number, which for some bizarre reason was tech support, and ordered the Arris equivalent of the Netgear I had reported the bug with. I had beta tested the 2-port version of the Arris machine, and it was every bit as good as Netgear, except for a couple of WTFs in the user interface. And about $50 less. So when that arrives and is set up, I'll RMA the Netgear.
