A Day of Rest

howeirdNever got dressed. Stayed in bed all morning and a lot of the afternoon. Zoe time was not much fun, she wants to fight. She needs more exercise, so I've ordered a tall cat tree for her room to replace the shaky two kitty perches (one on top of the other) because she loves to climb. The water fountain started leaking - blame the new, too-large pump I put in to replace the old noisy one. Ordered a fountain in a less leakable design.
About 3-ish, parked in front of the TV and watched some football, sipping lime soda and nibbling on mandarin oranges and mango popsicles. Took my morning meds, but not in the morning. Missed my lunchtime meds on account of no lunch. Reclined the recliner way back, footrest up, and drifted off during the first game, which I had no real interest in. Went back to bed for a couple of hours.
Watched the 49ers blow a 16-point lead at halftime. Put Tivo on pause, gave Spook some treats, refilled some sodastream bottles, decided the "quinoa stew" was so repulsive I dumped the one container from the fridge and put the two from the freezer into the sink to thaw & dump later. I have plenty of quinoa, will make a better batch eventually. Found two containers of a good batch in the freezer, so I'm okay.
Back to the Tivo, was surprised the 49ers came back to win handily. They tried real hard to give it away, but held on somehow, and then scored the nail-in-the-coffin touchdown in the last minute or so. Defense had 3 interceptions, which made all the difference. The team is playing like a bunch of friends. Meanwhile, Jacksonville players were fighting each other on the bench.
Turkey on rye for dinner.
FFed through the Seahawks game, pausing at each score. They won with TDs, Dallas lost with twice as many field goals.
Took my night time meds & insulin, and am waiting for the Nyquil to kick in. Do not want another round of seizures.
A quick check of LJ and I'm off to bed. Plan to stay there a lot tomorrow.
