This week's box office top 10 had a curious series of titles:

#6 The Pink Panther
#5 Aquamarine
#4 Ultraviolet

Number 3 is "Eight Below" which is set in the arctic, most likely with people turning blue from the cold. And number 7 is Dave Chapelle's Block Party, which is bound to be off-color.

Very quiet at work today. Tony and the day laborers have removed most of the junk, and the empty space (which is big enough for about a dozen cubicles) is littered with bits of plastic face plate, nuts, bolts, screws, and unidentified metal and plastic pieces. It looks like the aftermath of a Grateful Borg concert.

Went to see The Heidi Chronicles last night at Dragon Productions' new theater in Palo Alto, and it was superb. I highly recommend it - but call for reservations, they are selling out. In fact, they are sold out for tonight and tomorrow, but still have room Sunday and next Thurs-Sun. I'll try for a detailed review tonight.

Tomorrow I'll hop on CalTrain and meet the director of Friends of Thailand for lunch. Afterward I'll play around in the city some. Maybe I'll get a room and stay overnight. Maybe not. No plans for Sunday, unless a long-time ba.singles friend doesn't have an afternoon tryst, in which case we'll get together for coffee or a movie.

So I'm on the computer making labels with Noi's address, and just as I start to print them, my cell phone rings, and it's Noi calling to ask if I got her letters.
