It's too early to be up

Got to sleep at around 3 am, after hanging out with mistymarshall and her posse, johnnyeponymous Frank Wu, Martin The Philosopher, and others. The chicken tenders at the hotel were so-so, but the fries were better than average. Got ribbonized by britgeekgrrl who was in leather with iamradar who looked so good I wanted to take her home to meet the parents. The combined leather-yumminess was quite overwhelming.

The chocolate fountains were a success, will do it again tonight but need to get better milk chocolate. The high point was having both mistymarshall and farmount  on my bed together. More brain-and-boob power than any one man deserves. Photos will ensue later.

Also have to find a party to donate food to - I have lots of fruit (Safeway's deli cut stuff) and cheese  cubes which won't even be touched otherwise. Does BASFA and/or Evil Geniuses want more food? Let me know.

Took lots of photos at the Masq photo shoot, many many thanks again to didjiman and johno for donating lights and organizing the shoot, respectively. The space was not ideal, but then at this hotel none of the spaces are. Again, will post photos when I get time. One regret is I did not get a good shot of targeter, thanks to bad angles and crowded conditions.

Must shower, get food, and stumble to some panels. Two each I want to attend at 10 and 11:30.

Chocolate Fountains at 10 o'clock

Room 3117, 10 pm till 11:30 pm, all the way at the end of the hall waaaaay past the party sector. Apples, bananas, strawberries, marshmallows, rice crispies treats to dip & green M&Ms for the solid chocolate fans. Small selection of sodas in the fridge so best to BYO soft drink.

I'll be listening to Tres Gique in the concert room at 8, depending on how long it takes to prep may be open as early as 9. Call the room or my cell 650-248-6368 to check. Or just drop in and schmooze while I set up.

We Have Chocolate (the sequel)

Found myself nodding off and looking at my watch during Tres Gique's concert** so I bailed and did the chocolate fountain thing. We are now up and running, so come on out to the far end of the hotel room 3117. I'll be here till 11:30, at which time I want to hit some of the other parties.

**Not that there was anything bad about the concert. It was good fun filk, but between my inability to leave a project unfinished and being spoiled by three months of rehearsing/performing with a cast which was just short of Broadway Professional quality, I just had to go melt 85% Lindt and Cadbury milk, and cut up some apples, bananas and rice crispies treats, and put out the mallows, strawberries and cherries.

I'm keeping the door open just a crack, out of deference to the non-party neighbors, just push it open and come in. I have Thai pop music on the playlist tonight, because I can, and I like it. Ask me nicely and I may take a stab at translating it for you.
