Fan Fare

Many years ago I bought a remote-controlled pedestal fan, I can't remember where. It has served me well all this time and the mechanism still works fine, but the circular plastic piece which wraps around and holds the front guard together with the back guard broke when one of the cats knocked it over. I took a look at the model number to see if I could get a replacement part, and LOLed. The brand name is Windmere.

They don't exist anymore. Lasco has taken over the market, but there's no hope for parts there because my fan is 17" and Lasco only makes 16" and 18".
