Talk about a lazy day. Rained a lot today, I slept in, fed the cats, took my meds, lunch was hot dogs &pasta shells & sharp cheddar. Watched the Raiders win a game, and the 49ers play without a quarterback again. When will Harbaugh figure out that Smith isn't Luck? SF needs someone who can complete passes, preferably in the end zone, not just a hand-off expert.

Did two loads of laundry - it is SO nice to not have to haul it to a laundromat in the rain. Listened to the last 2 minutes of the game on the radio in the car, as the 9ers managed somehow to not beat themselves, try as they might. Drove to the Pear Ave Starbucks, it was a zoo, so me & friend who met there went to the one on Rengstorff instead, which had one place to sit and no line. We chatted till 6, then I stayed behind and went online. The place closes at 7, it is half full now.

Need to find diner, and deposit the rent refund check.

It's funny, but since moving I have spent almost as much time in the old neighborhood as before. New place is far from shopping in all directions. Lots of good places to eat, though.
