Woke up at 7 and was ready when the Terminix guy arrived right at 8. Another fitful sleep, another early morning rat attack.

T guy did not crawl under the house to set the traps, he put them right at the human access point, just inside.

He was done by 8:45, I was on my way to work at 9.

Still had a sore throat, but was feeling better.

Got the proofreading done for Boss, and messed around with the new machine a bit.

Lunch was Sizzler, which was a bust because they did not have any wings, through my 3 trips to the salad bar. :-(

Did some searching on Intel's pages for a Windows 10 laptop, it pointed me mostly to HP, which I won't buy because Carly & Meg, and 30,000 people laid off this month. Also pointed me to Dell and Toshiba. The Toshiba model which met my specs cost $1,400 and change. The comparable Dell was $899. Amazon had it for $850. So did Adorama and B&H, all three with free shipping. Amazon is closer, so I chose them. Expect to see it Saturday. Already have a tiny USB Windows 10 approved fingerprint sensor.

Need to look into whether I can put a micro SSD in there.

Started dragging around 4:30. Somehow made it till 6.

Home, emailed my section leader that I would not be at band practice.

Self-medicated with Southern Comfort. Heated up some Campbell's chicken noodle soup left over from yesterday and had that as an appetizer. Dinner was not-as-sour-as-it-ought-to-be sourdough bread with spinach artichoke dip.

Took my blood pressure, had to figure out the new, better fitting cuff. 148/68. Mixed.

Jello sugar free dark chocolate pudding cup for dessert. Nyquil for a lightcap.

My Hgl was way too high, shot up the full dosage of regular. Will go to bed as soon as I finish this.

Plans for tomorrow:
Work(?)
