Up with the alarm, actually out of bed and on the road in time, but forgot to shoot up my base insulin, had to use the high-test stuff all day.

Lots of email about bugs and stuff, but no actual work so I tried to find the Warriors' victory parade on YouTube, but all I found at first was the Capitals' parade & rally. Had to slap an antenna on a TV and watch the Oakland channel over the air. Great HD signal, incredibly stupid on the ground reporting. Eventually those amateurs gave up and just followed the players as they got off the buses and walked among the fans. Prior to the parade there was a stage set up with the team on it, being interviewed by someone who has done this before but after 3 times needs new material. One overriding theme is the players are friends. They compete with the other teams, not with each other.

Lunch was beef merlot steamer & grapes. A lot of marketing 101 people, aka eye candy. There were some stunning women in the break room, and some good looking men, had I paid attention. I marvel at how a statuesque woman attracts me almost as much as a petite one.

Back to the hole, pinged Boss to see if she wanted to sync, it being on the calendar for 3:30. She had a couple of devices for me to test, so I went right over and we had a sync session with new person. Boss is having new person help set up a better test tracking system, using the bug reporting tool. I'm skeptical, but we'll see. Boss also confirmed I'm gone when my contract is up. :-(

From there went to MV Kaiser pharmacy, Cardiologist had seen my EKG and added new meds. They had a 3-month supply in stock, just barely, $18.  Earlier in the day I mail ordered insulin pens.

Back at the hole, one device was a FAIL because the HDMI cable is hard wired into it, and it has been twisted so much (it's only 2" long) that some internal wires are broken or separating. I couldn't get it to fire up for more than a second at a time.

The second device is just an updated to P one which I have tested on N and O before. It still knew my local router password. I started it running the full cts suite. By now it is after 6.

After work I drove to Pear Ave Google, plugged in the car, and got in line for dinner. Chicken thigh roasted in mixed veggies. It wasn't bad. Fried string onions. A sauce which looked like peanut sauce but turned out to be thousand island based.

Next stop Great Clips, got shorn on top. Tuesday turned out to be seniors discount day.

Next door to Safeway for more fruit and frozen lunches. Next door again to Petco for a litterbox cartridge. And a cup of "calming" treats.

Home, put stuff away, replaced the guest room litter cartridge, and refilled the food tower and water fountain.

During the day on webcam I saw Spook in the office on the cat tree there. That's progress.

Tossed some calming treats and treat treats in front of the kitchen food tower, Spot gobbled up the treat treats and ignored the calming treats.

Delivered was a heavy duty plastic sofa cover, which I applied to the livingroom sofa which Spook had been tinkling on. She was on the piano room cat tree when I started, but fled under the guest room futon by the time I was done.

Also delivered, finally, was Pradaxa and losartan. But the losartan looks wrong. It's usually football shaped and green, this bottle is white round small aspirin-like. Need to do some research and maybe call the pharmacy tomorrow.

Redid the meds holders with the new BP med, taking out the previous kind.

Watched PTI and half of The Bachelorette. The latter starts and is peppered with scenes of a bachelor being carried out all bloody on a stretcher. This same bachelor has been taunting the male model, which is pretty sick considering the guy spent the first day in a chicken suit. Male model was getting more and more pissed off at chicken man, and it looked like it was heading for fisticuffs, but spolier alert )

One thing about this bachelorette, she gives each guy her full attention. It is impossible to tell if she is leaning toward any one guy. Finnian's Rainbow. "When I'm not near the one that I love, I love the one I'm near".

Dinner was Safeway pizza. Thin mint ice cream.

Made an appointment for next month to get a Federally compliant driver's license. I'm due for a renewal anyway.

Plans for tomorrow:
Work
There may be a writer's meetup in MV

Up on time, out of bed not on time. At work close enough to on time, I had breakfast all packed so no need to go to the break room.

Boss went all ballistic in chat messages because I had not filed any bugs against that mini device which she had given to me to test as a proof of concept. I reminded her that it wasn't expected to be ready for prime time, and she realized that the product manager was out of line, not me.  Product manager was bugging her as if the unit was waiting to be certified, which it wasn't.

New kid needed some help with a unit I'd tested a few weeks ago, she had new firmware for it. I told her I'd be by after lunch to grab the mini back and could help in person if she needed it.

Called Kaiser help, and they didn't. Called my PCP's office and made an appointment for the follow-up EKG for Friday afternoon.

Lunch was Saffron Road lamb saag. Not as good as it used to be, not much meat. And I'm not fond of basmati rice. Fruit for dessert. More marketing 101 eye candy, but not much this time.

Toilet in the hole flooded, I filed a ticket and it was taken care of in minutes. That's a first.

Drove to Hole 2, got the mini (but Boss forgot the remote) and found out the New kid's problem was not a problem. The unit comes up in French, and she didn't know to press the Home key to bypass that. The upgrade went fine, which surprised me since I was there to help with that.

Back to the hole, the 2-day automation test was still running on HDMI1, I hooked up the mini to HDMI2, and watched some storm chasers on Twitch. Turns out the TV's remote controlled the mini just fine.

Home, delivered was one multi-cat diffuser - think plug-in air perfumer. Plugged that in under the piano room cat tree. And the Skeechers arrived, which I'll open tomorrow.

Spook was under the futon again, and I discovered she had pooped on it. The sheets are in the dryer at the moment. I have ordered waterproof mattress and pillow protectors. Irks me a lot because I went out of my way yesterday to change out the litterbox in there.
Spent some Quality Time with the blow dryer.

Locked up Spot for a while, it did not take him long to attack Spook after I let him out. Fed Spook a few of the calming treats, she ate them, probably because she's very hungry. Too scared of Spot to go to the food towers.

Watched PTI and the last of the Bachelorette episode. She is seriously needy. And DDG. Confusing, that.

Dinner was chopped liver & greeben on rye. & the last of the thin mint ice cream.

Plans for tomorrow:
Work, maybe there will be an update for the mini which fixes the show-stoppers.
