Early to work. Nothing to do.
Sad news that Paul Allen died. He was 3 years younger than me.
Got some hints from a storm chaser on how to keep my phone from overheating.
Also got some encouragement to plant honeysuckle, so I ordered some plants online. Need soil, though. They don't do so well in clay.

Lunch was a chef's salad from Safeway. Very clever packaging. Good salad. Next time I won't use all the dressing.
At 5:25 Boss delivered a machine to test. She would have given it to me earlier but she wasn't sure it was the right one (we have two competing manufacturers in Europe building identical devices).

Webcam showed Spook using the office litterbox, then Spot came in to sniff around, and guard it. Spook climbed the office cat tree, Spot camped out on my desk chair.

OSH after work, traffic was not as bad as it could have been but worse than it should have been. The plan was to  get cat grass seeds and a few slabs of gardening soil. They had the seeds, but nothing else. The store was 3/2 empty, and will be closed by November. Greedy corporate shills taking the money and running.

Home, nothing delivered. In the mailbox was my mortgage statement, but nothing has changed. I guess it won't go up till December.

Watched the 49ers give away another game. :-(

Dinner was fish fillets with melted Swiss cheese and a couple of shrimp egg rolls, and mixed veggies. Chocolate chunk ice cream for dessert.
