After the usual breakfast I walked to the park office with my final rent/utilities check expecting to need to work out an arrangement for the week before I move, but they said they just send that to escrow and it's taken out of the sale price. The manager also said he forgot to tell me the small crack in the driveway needs to be patched. It's pretty trivial, but he should have included that in the written inspection sheet.
I'll see if I can find someone to do that. I've already ruled out asking Realtor to help.
The walk hurt. I had taken tylenol but the sciatica still made itself felt.
Read the news, finally some stories popped up about Kobe's infidelity and rocky marriage.
Vegas penguin streamer was on a lot today, Utah rock hound was not feeling well. I streamed a little in the afternoon, no chatters then again after dinner and had a couple of people to talk to.
Lunch after salad was a criossant sausage sandwich.
Watched PTI which came to us from Miami on a makeshift set in a cafe outdoors. They toned down the Kobe talk and concentrated on sports. The expert is leaning toward a KC win, which is a reasonable expectation. Meanwhile I went online and ordered a 49ers T-shirt with my name on the back and number 86. I wanted the number which an actual Howard had worn, but someone else on the team wears that so they would not give it to me.
I'll bring my Raiders T-shirt with me to LV.
On Tivo was Below Deck in which chief stew Kate keeps digging herself a deeper hole. She is generally pissed off with the world, and the clients picked up on that. Time for a new career, Kate.
Another The Bachelor where he proves he has no idea what he is looking for. And again he wasted more time chasing down drama with one manipulative phony whom he had already sent home. The producers are doing their best to sabotage this guy, first bringing back Hanna B, then bringing back Maleficent after arranging the country singer for the highlight of a date be the ex of the woman on the date. What a horrible thing to do to her. Plus having the show move to Cincinnati, which meant having the cast constantly say nice things about that unremarkable city. I would not be surprised if at least one woman walked off the show. Hanna B, Maleficent and her arch rival are all beauty pageant queens. They look nothing alike but are all purebred phonies.
In other news, strange but true it rained today. briefly, but a lot.
Dinner was salad and a pasta shell and sausage thing picked up at GO.
Social Security 1099 arrived, I plugged it into TurboTax. Major refund due but that will change after I put in the brokerage info.
Plans for tomorrow:
Maybe go to the coffee klatch though no one has been showing up, so maybe not
Go for a drive
Download the brokerage data into TurboTax. Have it compute the bottom line.
