Sunday caching up
May. 9th, 2021 10:12 pmWas up at 5, abandoned by the circadian rhythm band. Despite a lie-down in the afternoon, I was very tired by 10 pm, and hit the sack.
Got up at 5 because low-ish Hgl (85) and there was unopened milk to add chocolate syrup to, and probably more Gold Rush on Tivo 4K. Turns out it was dead easy to pair the 4K remote with my AV receiver. So I can mute the SlingTV required ads, none of which apply to me and many are very annoying.
Took my meds, did not need insulin.
Spent a lot of time and effort trying to find the DMV paperwork but I must have thrown it out when the online page said I had to come in person. Brilliant flash of inspiration, I just needed the secret code number, and it was still cached on the DMV page, which I was able to screen capure. I hope that will be enough, along with my lease contract.
SoFloWildlife was streaming cleaning and filleting his catches from yesterday, which were large and many. Storm chasers were mostly driving home.
Cooked up a pot of rice. 4 cups of rice became 16. Bagged in ziplocks 2 cups per, and after they cooled they went into the new auxilliary freezer. In front of the contaners of tilapia curry.
Streamed for half an hour till the chatters went away.
Not much on TV till American Idol. Coldplay night - all the contestants had to sing something by Coldplay, and got to rehearse with the fellow who wrote the songs. One contestant whom I don't think should have made it this far decided he didn't like th melody so he made up his own. He keeps getting praised for his origiality, but they really should just send him home. And there's a country singer who countrified his song, and got too much praise for that.
Somewhow I never learned any Coldplay songs, and now I know why.
Then they switched to letting some comtestants come back and sing a song for their moms, it being mother's day. Countrified guy wrote something which sounded like a dirge. His mom loved it, so two people with no taste.
I paused the show in the middle of the large woman's song. She sings beautifully and it was a song I wanted to like, so To be continued. I was just too sleepy.
Plans for Monday:
Take out all the garbage
DMV - leave by 8:15 so wake up early
BASFA zoom
