Twitch streamers entertained me
Apr. 3rd, 2022 11:00 pmHardly slept in at all, maybe 20 minutes, but I was up to pee 15 minutes before the alarm.
Nothing on Tivo, so I flipped to the smart TV, Prime Video, watched the first episode of The Feed which is a sci-fi drama set in a world where most people have an implant which ties them to a global information system, which includes being able to see snippets of other people's thoughts, and store selected ones of your own. The production values are lame, the writing somewhat plodding, and here and there is some acting, but not much. One episode was enough for one day.
Switched to Twitch, which kept me amused with the Key West fisherman on his boat finally catching sharks. Lots of sharks. He was supposed to tag them, but only had 2 tags left and decided to only use one.
Breakfast was waffles, lunch was shrimp and flan (Albertson's delivery arrived around 10, half the items were substituted with the wrong flavor or size).
Delivered: undies and another immersible aquarium filter (a spare for now).
Relaxed watching the calm waters of FL and Spook sat on my lap for 15-20 minutes and let me brush her, first with the normal brush then with the undercoat comb (a surprise because she usually bites me when I try to use it). There was a lot of undercoat fur.
2 pm I was fading, took a nap, was out for almost an hour. It helped.
Put the heavy undies trash bag on the walker, added all the trash bags in the house and eventually got them into the outdoor bin. Also made a couple of recycleds dumps into the blue bin.
Sundown in FL switched Twitch to a CO streamer who was hunting tornadoes in TX. He found a massive thunderhead, lots of lightning and very picturesque.
7 pm hauled the pile of big boxes to the curb and added the porch rocking chairs, which blow away in a strong wind, and I don't need now because I have a heavy office chair out there.
Took the pop-up cam from Jade's former room and put it on the porch, pointed at the strays' cat food. So far the cat has not shown up. Could be because next door neighbor returned from her cruise and set out her usual offering.
Dragged the two bins to the curb. Trash bin weighed a ton, recycle bin not much.
Dinner was beef & garlic noodles from Lean Cuisine, and a 4-berry cup, which had mango pieces for a change.
MSNBC had an interesting interview with Zelensky's dance partner when they won Ukraine's Dancing With The Stars 15 years ago. She is still a hottie.
Tivo: 2-part Midsommer Murders, lots of costumes - set in a local take-off of Comic-Con. Extremely convoluted plot.
Tomorrow:
Senate Judiciary Committee votes on whether to send Judge Jackson's nomination to the full Senate
