Ben Franklin, American Idol, Meds requested

Last night's Hgl reading was above 400, I think the meter made an error. I shot up a full slow-acting and fast-acting insulin dose. Woke up at 5:45 am with 113, threatening to go lower so I ate a Klondike bar and watched an episode of Below Deck Sailing Ship in which they finally fired the handsome but clueless deck hand. The clients were a lot of fun, and the crew kept to their own bunks.

Back to bed, next Hgl was 89 which is surprisingly low.

Slept in, avocado and banana breakfast around 11 am.
Delivered: a new runner for in front of the door. The wool one I bought at auction in CA in 2019 has been shedding, eaten by moths. Rolled up the old runner, will bulk garbage it in 2 weeks.

Very windy today.

Skyped with a Bay Area friend who is a Kansas alum (her license plate says JHAWKxx were XX is her graduation year). She went into SF to a basketball viewing party, and sat next to her ex's brother. She has been single a long time.

A lot of today was watching the Ken Burns Ben Franklin on PBS (Tivo). Part 1. Very thoroughly researched, but the art work and stage dressing did not impress. Part II is recording now, it picks up just after the Boston Tea Party.

Lunch - shrimp, dessert was berries. Dinner- a very old beef merlot frozen bowl. I will be emptying out the side panel of the freezer which has become a time capsule.

Dessert was Thin Mints.

Also lots of time watching 90 Day Pillow Talk

Phoned my urologist, left a message asking for UTI meds. Nothing yet.
