The Rest of the Story
Jun. 25th, 2006 09:05 pmAfter the pub, got home around 2 pm, did laundry and vacuumed, then went to Starbuck's to meet a non-LJ long time friend who is just back from a whirlwind tour of Turkey. Ironically, she says she overdosed on red meat.
Came home by way of the bank and Safeway, had the last of the lovely crock pot lamb shank from last week, and watched the DVD of Mrs. Henderson Presents. I won't review it, because, frankly, I can't think of anything bad to say about it. The reason I got it, of course was it featured naked young women. But the nudity was artistic and not full frontal, and very brief. Well-written, superbly acted, great sets and scenery and cinematography. And an extremely deep, wide and touching story.
I'm on call this week, but so far the pager has been silent. I can pretty much forget about it for the rest of the week because India has us covered as of an hour ago. At least in theory.
