Marathons

Did not get a lot of sleep last night but Spook did.

This time the medical issue was only part of the problem. My domain had landed at the new hosting site, and there was a ton of content to ftp to it. The increase in upload speed helped, but some image folders were way bigger than I thought. Started one of them at about 3 am and went back to bed for an hour, it was still running. But eventually sometime late morning it all got transferred.

But email was stuck. Had to talk to a human at GoDaddy on the phone to remove the MSFT email "feature" and then remove my account. That seems to have worked. Now the new site hosts my email.

And of course had to "repair" my Outlook and phone email apps with the new server names. And on the new server had to correct the nameservers.

So I think we're all good now.

New host is webhostingpad.com

It was 32F this morning, so I waited till noon and 48F to go outside and unplug the car.

Did a load of wet shorts and towels.

Tried to sleep but kept leaking. :-(

Half a banana breakfast with a side of mini Snickers.

Ordered a whole Dungeness crab (boiled) and a pound of boiled crawdads and  a serving of clam strips from the very nearby Cajun place. Very fast delivery. Had the crawdads for lunch, the sauce was a bit much but good. The clam strips were rubber. Most of them are in the trash. Crab is in the fridge, probably for tomorrow. I'm not very hungry anymore. Maybe because of the ice cream.

Cox messed up my football recording - they put an announcement on the HD pages that we now use the SD channels, they had done away with SD. Tivo needed to be set back to defaults to get my to-do list corrected.

And now somehow the live broadcast of the football game became Nickelodeon.

Delivered was a set of alleged pee pads, but they are a FAIL. No absorbency. The 4 Walmart towels delivered yesterday are far better.

Three east coast people received their calendars today. No word so far from California. Probably weather delayed.

Watched The Bachelorette.  She did indeed send home her best match and kept the desperate one and the heavily tattooed liar. Bets on Twitter that the liar will win, cheat on her, and she will re-connect with #3 who lives in her home town.

Got a call from Cardiology finally, which prompted me to search my calendar and find I did, indeed, have a "nuclear stress test" back in May 2020. But she said my afib is out of control. So we'll see...

Tomorrow:
try to get some sleep
maybe have crab for lunch/dinner
