My alarm went off at 1:59 am, reminding me to set my non-internet clocks forward an hour. Google calendar would not let me set the alarm for 2 am because this morning 2 am did not exist.
I was all comfy in bed so I waited till about 6 to do the ones in the bedroom & the bathrooms, one had a switch. After I was dressed I did the one in the livingroom, two in the office, and breakfast time the microwave and the oven. And the clock on the counter.
My blood sugar meter got the time when I uploaded my morning reading. So did my bathroom scale.
Gathered the trash bags from all the cans in the house plus the shredder and made one big bag out of them, took those outside to the bin. Also dumped one last container of recycleds into the other bin.
Decided I needed the exercise so I got the walker and went down my front ramp, and walked the three blocks the get my mail. The arms on my walker are too short, even at their most extended, and it hurt my shoulders. The good news is this shows how much my posture has improved since I last used the walker. But it's really too long a walk. Had to stop a few times on the way back to ease my shoulders.
The only useful item was a flyer for a Chinese restaurant which delivered so I ordered a few meals from them.
Browsed FB and Twitter, watched whatever was on Tivo, and then channel surfed between MSNBC, CNN, NASCAR and the PGA tour. Tuned in to the latter just in time to see someone score a hole in one.
Very annoyed at Cox, they have horrible ad insertion technology which has them showing a few seconds of a national ad which then gets replaced by one of their obnoxious self-promoting ads. The ones I hate are "I haven't seen my [brother/sister] since I left [Nicaragua/Malaysia] [20/10] years ago, so Cox sent both of us electroonic hugging jackets so we can hug each other".
And then there are the wifi smart router ads which show Mom turning off the connection in her daughter's room when daughter is on social media instead of eating diner.
It was pretty warm around 5 so I dragged the bins to the curb. Don't have to do that till maybe 9 am, but it will be cold then.
Email from Amazon, somehow on a Sunday after I had walked a quarter mile to get my mail, they delivered the new fingerprint reader for my laptop to the mailbox. After a little hesitation I drove there and got it. It's a nice one, works fine.
Banana and avocado chunks for breakfast, wor won ton soup for lunch, shrimp in lobster sauce for dinner. Berries for desserts. And a fortune cookie.
It's still early, more TV and more Pinot noir.
Tomorrow:
Bring in the garbage bins
Lots of Tivo/TV
