More of the same

howeirdFirst thing after I got dressed, the filter pump on the aquarium was overflowing backward. I've had this problem before on hanging filter pumps, so after mopping up I ordered immersible filters. Not as easy to clean but maybe the same when I think about it.
Stayed home all day but did go out on the porch a few times. First with the tablet and listened to more King County WA scanner traffic. Then to set out food & water for a cat I thought was one we had trapped & veteranarianized but turns out to be a doppelganger new community cat. He haltingly came up the ramp and dug into the food, but ran when Spook appeared at the screen door.
Relaxed by watching Twitch on the smart TV, soflowildlife on his little boat out on the ocean by the Florida Keys. He was mostly skunked but the weather was calm and around sunset he caught some small sharks.
5pm or so I was needing a nap, so I crashed for an hour. That helped.
Ordered some empanadas from a Cuban place via doordash. Except for the coconut one, they were way too salty, and they forgot to put the homemade flan in the bag. Boo hiss. DD gave me a refund for that.
TMZ and Hot Bench on Tivo, lots more updating the Pixel phone. Still getting used to gmail for all my accounts.
Hummingbirds have been visiting the feeder.
