For callbacks there are no prepared pieces. They have you read from the script, and they may have you sing a tidbit from the score. Or they may only ask to hear your vocal range. The main thing callbacks are for is to nail down who will be playing the leading roles. So I expect they will have me read from some of the parts I could be cast in, and since one of those is the father of the leading lady, I'm sure they will have me read a scene with those trying out for her part.

For my audition last night I sang Old Man River. My voice is at the resonant frequency of the room we were in, so it even impressed >me<. ;-)
