One of the first web pages I ever saw was documentation of an experiment worthy of the Journal of Irreproducible results, done by Patrick R. Michaud in the early 90's. I stumbled upon it again this week, and was thoroughly amused all over again. Amazed it is still online, and more amazed that it is unchanged since 1994.

The LOX experiment was originally done by a fellow from Purdue named George Gobel (not the same George Gobel who had his own TV show in the late 50's) on a cheap Weber grill, and was partially inspired by the pop tarts page. Since there's video of it (see my latest post) the wonders of the Internet keep making it pop up as if it just happened last week (kind of like my exploding whale video).
