A woman I used to work with brought in something like unto halvah, but made from sunflower seeds instead of sesame seeds. IIRC, she still called it halvah; I don't know if that's correct, or if has another name. Regardless, that was my introduction to the stuf, and I prefer it to the sesame-based variety. Alas, I have not been able to find it myself.
