Since kevin_standlee is away from the internets today, I'll fill in and announce today is National Train Day. Amtrak is having events at some of their locations.

When I first heard about it I was hoping there would be some kind of "big discount on any tickets you buy on National Train Day" promotion going on, because I was needing tickets for later this month, but alas, no.
