We'll get the first note thing fixed, somehow. The conductor is very very good at trying to make things work, and it helps that the vocal director knows the score completely, and is in the cast. And he is one of the people who joins in for the finale of the song. What's weird is when we were reheasrsing it with just him, me and the piano, and I told him I always had trouble with that note, I nailed it every time.
