Okay, I think my irony detector fell off in the night and got caught up in the bedclothes...really not sure what you're actually saying. But I do like the video. In fact, I'd like to see one of these with people from all over the rest of the world, saying "You don't want to vote? Okay, let me do it for you." If I could register to vote in America, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
I notice that some of the people on my flist with whom I don't always agree are now starting to pass around the idea that "It doesn't really matter who's president, Congress makes all the decisions." Which is exactly what I might be saying if the election was weeks away and I didn't believe my guy, the one I'd been seriously trying to get people to vote for, had any hope of winning. And, you know, if it really, really mattered to me who was president. Last throw; try to get the people who are on the point of caring to forget the whole thing and stay home.
It may be that you're right, and the system is so thoroughly broken that voting doesn't affect anything. That still isn't a reason not to do it.
