Cousins Brian & Viv in London sent email today saying they did get together with NYC cousin Eliot and his wife & daughter today, in time for the big VJ/VE Day parade. They sent pix. This one was taken by Viv:

Right to left: Brian, Eliot, Eliot's wife Fran and their daughter Jessica. Behind them is some clock which is always about 200 years slow.

Close. It was actually for the up-coming remake of the 1934 thriller Charlie Chan in London http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0024968/ which will be scripted almost exactly the same as the original, except for a slight name change for the leading character. Number 1 Son will be a computer-generated Chinese character named Jar-Jar Chang. Die-hard purists will no doubt object to this, because this was one of the few Charlie Chan flicks which did not include his son.
