Click on the image to see photos of the not-at-all-incendiary Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History, and its neighborhood.

According to the LA Times' fire map, the Botanical Gardens about a mile and a half up the hill and across at least one major road, was the closest thing to the museum to burn.
