My father died four  months before he was born.
Called Lincoln Financial to find out the status of dad's life insurance claim, and they said the DOB on his death certificate did not match their records. Looked at the certificate, and it has his DOB as 10/23/2010. One would think the Washington State health department, which issues these, would have caught that. His SS# is on the form, it is so easy to check.

So we're having it corrected of course.

Just last night I read about someone being "born posthumously," and thought "that's a good trick if you can do it."
