Stockholm Syndrome

Been watching clips of the Berkeley woman who was released on bail from Iran after a year in prison there. Scares the crap out of me how deeply Stockholm syndromed she appears to be, and how totally oblivious to this the media is.

I still don't buy the "innocent hiker" story either. An American citizen would have to be insane and/or seriously stupid to go for a pleasure hike on the Iran-Iraq border without some kind of agenda.

I think that was to be expected as it is what you do to try to save your own life. If they like you it is harder to kill you.

I wonder if she will get any treatment.

I am so with you on the innocent victim shit. Same as the chicks last year who "accidentaly' stumbled into North Korea. Give me a freakin break.
