I like weird sweet liqueurs, particularly Creme de Violette and Saint Germain (which is made from elderflowers). Those are too sweet to drink straight but are lovely added to dry champagne.
I ticked every box on the "which do you drink?" question, because I have drunk all of those and would do again if offered. My answer would be a little narrower were the question "which do you drink on a regular basis?".
As for the taste of alcohol, sometimes it's pleasant, sometimes not so. Humans have an instinctive aversion to bitter tastes, for instance -- it's a good defence mechanism against poisonous berries, etc -- so you have to unlearn that to enjoy beer.

Date: 2010-09-20 07:37 pm (UTC)I like Rum & Tequila in things, not to fond of them alone. If I drink vodka and gin, which is rare, they too are in mixed drinks.
One exception, St Georges makes a Buddha's Hand Vodka that is wonderful!
I also like some of the stuff the St George's comes up with that don't fit in your list like their White Qi.
Yes, I like how St George's is playing with that whole distilled thing.
I just enjoy good tasting alcohol. The nasty stuff in any of the above categories will only be sipped once then put down.
