howeirdBank of America added its name to the short list of lending institutions which have halted foreclosures. It's temporary and they only did it because they didn't want to get sued for using unread documents as evidence. If they can do this on their own, I'd bet that Obama and Co. could have halted foreclosures completely and forced banks to re-negotiate bad mortgages.
