Two Down, 3 to go
Oct. 10th, 2010 11:04 pmSunday matineƩ had a good-sized audience, and I knew things would be okay when they started singing along right from the start. The show is as nailed down as it is ever going to be, we need to stop with the pre-show dance and "fight scene" rehearsals already. Vocal warm-ups 40 minutes before we actually sing are not that effective either.
May help with tech for the next show, but it depends on where I'm working and whether I'm working with the Portola Valley Oz production.
Did the laundry at the coinless place. I love their dryers - big and efficient and they get most of the cat fur off the clothes. Must put the laundry away after I write this. Watched the 49ers melt down again. So sad. Coach needs to be demoted to defense coach, and someone hired from elsewhere who has a background as a QB and/or QB coach. I wonder if Joe Montana could be lured into it.
Did not get off my butt early enough this morning to do the chores I'd planned on. Tuesday, maybe.
Plans for tomorrow:
Work
Fry's - look for a fan. The one I got online is way too powerful on its lowest setting, and they lied about the remote control, it doesn't control oscillation and the variable breeze feature is missing altogether.
BASFA (?)

Some allow the director to post notes during the run, but pre-show rehearsing of anything short of a weapons fight is out of the question. And those are overseen by the swordmaster under the direction of the SM, as a safety issue.
