Put the Vizio blu-ray player through its paces last night, it's working just fine. The problem is it is slow. What the Sony did instantly the Vizio takes up to 20 seconds to do - like shutting off. It also took multiple tries to program the Logitech remote because they do not yet have all the required keys in their database, I had to have it "learn" them. And the slowness meant I needed to increase the delay between some key combinations, and add an extra power off command.

But it's happy now, playing Netflix and real DVDs.

I need a mad scientist icon.
