Bureaucratic Miracles Do Happen
Oct. 12th, 2004 03:34 pmThe first miracle is my driver's license was sitting in the mailbox at the new apartment when I moved in. I did the by-mail renewal two weeks before the move.
I had checked the box which said this was also a new address for voter registration.
The second miracle is when I called this afternoon to see if I was registered to vote at the new address, they said yes. And they will send me a replacement voter pamphlet, just in case the original had gone to the old address (the post office isn't supposed to forward those).
