howeirdYay, New York managed to squeak gay marriage into law. The margin was so small, it could be overturned next year. 48% of the state's legislators are still against it. To me this is not a major victory.
I'm against the government meddling in people's love lives. I don't think the government has any business marrying people. To me it is obscene that married people are treated differently by the law than single people.
And I think it's silly to be "proud" of your sexual preference, whatever it is. Just enjoy it.
