This weekend is Westercon, the western regional Sci-fi convention, at the San Jose Fairmont. Irony time, the con has not provided us with the login info for the hotel's wireless (excellent signal, meant for conference area attendees, but browser requires a login).

Panels were very good, parties well-attended. My favorite shot from the parties:

That's because The Fairmont charge for wireless access in the function space is very high, not something Westercon can afford.
