Thanks to the storm, I decided to not go to two out of three NYE parties. Will brave the climb to
farmount's, since it would be a shame to have to eat all those pigs 'n blankets by myself. Had the leftover turkey frank for lunch.
Comcast cable TV is coming in just fine, but not so the cable internet connection, which has been down since about noon. Which means no home phone since it's VOIP and needs the cable modem connection. No worries, I have the cell phone, and if anyone tries to ring my home number, the cell phone will ring too. If someone leaves me vmail on the home phone number, it will page my cell phone. Vonage has thought this deal out pretty well.
