Mother's Maiden Name

Doing research for a comment on [livejournal.com profile] leatherapron's pages, I tried to find the maiden name of Second Lady Lynne Cheney. It's not on any of the official web sites, or Wikipedia, or anywhere I could find on the net in a 5-minute browse. Very odd, I thought. But then, it must be a security nigtmare for children of famous women, because anyone can find out their mother's maiden name.

But this lovely link more than made up for my failure to find out what Lynne C's birth name was. Remember, this lady has a Ph.D. in literature from a Big 10 university, and something like nine published books to her credit.

... and THIS is her LITERARY MASTERPIECE???

Nice find. Thanks! ;~)

Howeird,

Her maiden name is Vincent. Do I win a free autographed book for finding out?

My sleuthing was not all that impressive. Go back to your weblink to the book and then click on the link to Mrs. Cheney at the top of the page. There you will also find her maiden name. I'll accept the dress, since I have for the longest time wanted to get into one like that. (Insert W.C. Fields "ah yes")
