Last night I got out the curtain rod & hardware for the bedroom door. Got up on the ladder and tried to screw in the little wood screw, but it wasn't getting any traction. Tried to drill a pilot hole using the electric screwdriver's tiny drill bit, but it didn't have enough oomph. Tried the power drill, and it got nowhere except through the paint - to reveal the door is metal, not wood. OK, curtain rod is not going to happen.
But the new bedroom window curtains came with some hooks which were not good for it, but worked fine to hook the bedroom curtain to the top of the thing holding the blinds. Not quite as much coverage as the rod would have given, but 98%, so a vast improvement.
Last night when I flushed the toilet in the small bathroom, it was clogged. The bowl holds less water than the tank, so I have to let it settle before trying to plunger it. This morning there was an inch of water on the floor. Used to be bathroom floors had drains. Not any more. 20 minutes to mop it dry enough to plunger. All is well now.
Time to take meds & go to work. Full day ahead.
