Two Good Women

Coretta King and Wendy Wasserstein died this week.

As I was mis-reading King's obituary on some blog or another, I thought it called her a "woman of gender".

I'm inspired to start a movement to promote People Of Gender™. I think it has a nice ring to it, and could catch on with all ethnic, socio-economic, political and psychiatric groups. Who's with me?

Since gender is performance (read Judith Butler)and not sexual organs, castrati are people of gender.

Actually we are all people of gender.

Gender could probably include "both", "all", "none", "multitudes", "purple", "geek", "genderfuck", etc. etc. etc.
