Meanwhile, at work

howeirdHad to F-lock the rehearsal post.
Work was good. The engineers got on step closer to figuring out the Big Bug I submitted. Meanwhile since I am stuck on th new product, I ran some of the more tedious tests on the old product, which is having a revival of sorts.
Lunchtime I went to Dusit Thai, which used to be real good but lately they have not even been turning the overhead fans on,m let alone the air conditioner. I ordered the house fried rice with prawns and got lovely prawns buried inside over-boiled over-peppered rice which may or may not have been fried. Way too spicy for me telling her not spicy. I left over most of it. The soup was just some thin broth with tofu cubettes, and there was a WTF appetizer of three fried won tons drizzled with sweet&spicy sauce. The two tiny spring rolls were okay, though. I left dripping sweat. It will be a long time before I go back there.
Stopped for gas at the least expensive Arco in the area,still paid more than $4/gal. Thank you Mr. Obama. Because, you know, windfall profits are in your domain, as is price gouging and anti-trust.
